Back in the 1930s, they only had radio and movies and there were only about five movie stars and five famous singers. Keep this in mind when the insane web of mass media and communication reports yet another beloved fallen icon every day.
It doesn't lessen the loss or the talent they had. I'm just trying to keep it in a somewhat anti-overwhelming perspective.
